Our Story

Lavliér is a cosmetics and lifestyle brand established in 2023, operating under Chem-less Technologies Oy, a Finnish cosmetic technology company that develops a new generation of cosmetic manufacturing methods to build a cleaner and more environmentally friendly cosmetics industry.

The company's developed Chem-less™ technology utilizes renewable raw materials obtained from the side streams of the forest industry and enables the manufacturing of cosmetic products with fewer chemicals, simpler formulations, and lower energy consumption. The goal is to create safer, effective, and high-quality products without compromising user experience or luxury.

Lavliér is our own cosmetic brand, where the founders' passions for aesthetics and science meet. In our products, we get to showcase our latest innovations, and through the brand, we create delightful settings for their presentation and making them available to people. The first products based on Chem-less™ technology will arrive on the market in autumn 2026.

Our Story

Lavliér's founders, Jenna Tikkanen and Petro Lahtinen, began their collaboration in 2016 in material technology and design. The combination of visual design, material expertise, and chemical knowledge laid the foundation for a new kind of cosmetic and lifestyle brand where science, aesthetics, and user experience merge.

Previous work with innovative materials and design products sparked the idea that cosmetics could also be made more simply, more responsibly, and more beautifully – without compromising on quality or a luxurious user experience.

Lavliér was born from the desire to combine technology, natural materials, and Nordic design into a new kind of cosmetic concept.

Our current selection includes innovative forest cosmetic products, Ecocert COSMOS Natural certified natural cosmetics, hygiene and hair care products, and wellness-promoting lifestyle products.
